The Mexican Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to help Hispanic families in the Rhode Island area. It was founded by Mr. Julio C. Aragon five years ago. Since then, Its purpose has been to provide assistance to families regarding education, legal, and equal opportunity matters. Today, our association provides assistance to more than nine hundred families in southern New England. Though we are a small group of volunteers, we all share the same cause of helping families, promoting education, and participation in youth cultural and sporting events in our community. The association is currently looking for volunteers interested in serving the community or in organizing cultural and sporting events. During cultural events, we offer Mexican traditional Mexican dance performances by a children's dance group called "Las Perlitas de Mexico."
